Daily Sudoku
Today's puzzle
Solve today's puzzle to start a streak.
Daily sudoku: one new Medium puzzle each day, and everyone who visits today gets the same grid. Solve it, build your streak, and come back tomorrow for the next one.
What Is the Daily Sudoku Puzzle?
The daily sudoku puzzle is a single Medium grid that changes once a day. It starts with 32 numbers in place, so it is challenging without eating up your whole morning; most players finish in 10 to 25 minutes. Think of it as a small sudoku daily challenge: a fixed point in the day, like the crossword in a newspaper, that you can look forward to.
One Puzzle for Everyone
Every visitor who opens this page on the same date sees exactly the same grid. That makes it easy to share: call a friend, ask how they did with the sudoku today, and compare times. Because the puzzle is the same for everybody, it is also a fair way to see how your solving speed improves over the weeks.
When Does a New Puzzle Appear?
The puzzle is linked to the date on your own device, so a new one appears at your local midnight, wherever in the world you are. After you finish, the page shows how long you have to wait for the next one. If you come back later the same day, you will see your result and the solved board; if you come back unfinished, you continue exactly where you stopped.
How Your Streak Works
Above the board you will see your streak: the number of days in a row on which you have solved the daily puzzle. Solve today and tomorrow, and the streak grows by one each time. Miss a whole day, and it starts again from the beginning. The streak is stored only in your browser, with no account and no sign-up, so you can enjoy daily sudoku free online without sharing anything about yourself.
Daily Sudoku Online and on Paper
Most people play daily sudoku online right here on the board, with notes, hints and undo. If you prefer paper, press Print to get today's grid on a clean page with the date on top.
Want More Than One Puzzle a Day?
The daily grid is just the start. You can play unlimited puzzles at four levels: Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. New to the game? Read how to play Sudoku first, and when you want to get faster, the page on Sudoku strategies will help.
Daily Sudoku Questions

Yes. Everyone who opens the page on the same date gets exactly the same grid, so you can compare times with friends and family.
What happens to my streak if I miss a day?
